Kingfisher flashes of blue
Just like a Kingfisher darting about, I was soon painting this lovely bird. There can be a sense of green, turquoise tones when the iridescent streak of blue along a Kingfisher’s back catches the sunlight. The Kingfisher came to life when I painted the beady eye.
Kingfisher was painted using only 3 primary colours. No black, no white, no masking fluid. Just pure watercolour.
