Thank you for taking the time to visit my Landscape Commission page. I paint beautiful fine detailed watercolour landscapes. I live in rural Shropshire and appreciate stunning landscapes and as a watercolour artist, I only ever paint with professional watercolours. I paint your landscape commission using photographs. I accept landscape commissions from the UK, France, Germany and many other European countries, Canada, USA, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Landscape commissions are delivered by courier.
Landscape Commissions include a favourite view, a gorgeous holiday location or simply somewhere special that you would love to capture in a watercolour painting. Get in touch with your ideas for an exquisite landscape commission.
About Artist Helen Parry, my Style and Watercolour Technique
All my watercolour paintings are created with just three watercolours (a blue, red and yellow). These colours are mixed to create all the colours I need. Also, I don’t use white paint, all the white in my paintings is the original white of the paper. I also use small sable watercolour brushes for lots of fine detail in my paintings. My watercolour technique is called “Pure Watercolour” and the materials I use, mean my paintings are archivable and will, when properly looked after, last for many generations. My painting technique is unique and highly technical. Also, my landscape commission paintings have exceptionally fine detail.
I paint in a very realistic style, capturing all the fine details. There is always a lot to see in my watercolour paintings. I like my watercolour landscape commissions to help you recapture that feeling you had in your favourite location and I want your landscape painting to be a wonderful reminder of a special place.
When it comes to creating a special landscape commission, it’s important to have good communication between us. I want to achieve your commission idea, so I like to keep you informed throughout the commission process, by phone or email. You can always contact me with any questions you may have as well. I believe in providing a professional and friendly service, that you feel you can rely on.
Commissioning a Landscape painting
For more information about commissioning see Commission Process page.
Also, please see Landscape Photography Tips for information on what makes a good landscape photo for a commission. You’ll also find information about using old printed photographs for a commission and what to do if you don’t have photos of the location you want painting. It’s good to send several photos of your favourite location and I can piece together a layout together using more than one photo.
I can be busy with commissions, so if you need a commission within a short time period, gift vouchers may be a suitable alternative, I offer various values. It’s wise to let me know as soon as possible, if you’re thinking of a landscape commission for a specific date, as a wonderful anniversary present or for a special commemoration or occasion and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
Framing a Landscape Commission
I usually supply your landscape commission painting without a frame, but if you would like me to organise a frame for your watercolour landscape, then please get in touch. Framed commissions that have glass, instead of acrylic, need to be collected from my studio, based in Shropshire.
Giclée Prints Availability
All my landscape watercolour paintings are professionally photographed. Therefore, you’re also able to buy gorgeous fine art giclée prints of your landscape commission, as a lovely gift for family and friends. Please contact me, if you’re interested.
